Back in November 2019, we at Hammond Associates, along with East Street Arts, helped young Micah Hayns find a space in Templars Shopping Centre, Oxford, where he could let his creative juices flow and his talent flourish.
Micah worked tirelessly for over a year on his project ‘Jungle’ once he acquired the space, transforming it from a disused unit into a world of wonders full of enchanting jungle-themed decor to perfectly compliment the main attraction – his artwork.
In December 2020, all of Micah’s efforts paid off when he proudly opened his exhibition to the public…
Painted with dark, earthy tones and decorated with sprawling vines and ivy trails hanging from beams cleverly disguised as limbs branching out from the tree-like centre pillar, visitors were transported deep into the heart of the jungle.
Since then, Micah has presented another solo exhibition, this time in Liverpool at Gallery 1889 with his collection of works ‘Moments Passed’, as well as creating 40 paintings and drawings for the book ‘Unveiled’, due to be released October 2021.
Now though, Micah is getting ready to exhibit 20 original paintings and drawings at the prestigious Chelsea artists fair named “Untitled“. The fair is the UK’s largest of its kind and will be open from Friday 22nd October with VIP entry tickets and Saturday 23rd October for free entry tickets to all who wish to visit. The fair will run until Sunday 24th October, and with over 130 other talented artists like Micah showcasing their magnificent work, this fair is not to be missed!
