Get out your calendar and box off Sunday 15th May because we’re off to the races!
Hammond Associates are proud to announce that we will be sponsoring the second race in the jam-packed line up for Traditional Family Sunday Raceday down at Ripon Races, together with the children’s charity of rugby, Wooden Spoon.
Wooden Spoon work hard to support children and young people with disabilities or who are living in disadvantage by focusing on projects such as sensory rooms, playground and outdoor activities, health and well-being, and specialist equipment. Since 1983, they have funded more than 1,300 projects across the UK and Ireland, totalling over £29 million.

A good cause? Definitely. A great day out? Absolutely! So what are you waiting for?!
In addition to the main event, for adults there is a competition for “best turned out” (prize of £100 to the groom and a trophy to the connections of the race winner), and for the kids, there’s plenty of free fun to be had including:
- National Festival Circus
- Punch & Judy from Professor Dan Slater
- Magic Show
- Kub Karts
- Bouncy Castles
- Barrel Train
- Face Painting
- Balloon Modelling
With tickets from only £7.00 per person, it’s an affordable trip for the whole family!
The gates open at 12:10pm with the first race scheduled to take place at 2:10pm, and the Hammond Associates sponsored handicap race for 3 year old horses is set to begin at 2:46pm – so plenty of time for lunch to be digested first!
If all that excitement doesn’t get you scrabbling for tickets in the pursuit of a belting weekend, we don’t know what will! All we know is, we’re crossing our fingers for good weather and hoping you can join us for the big event!
