In June of this year, in conjunction with our friends at Outer Spaces, we helped artist Sarah Calmus find her perfect temporary space in Henderson Row, Edinburgh.
Originally from Essex, Sarah describes her art style as being “multidisciplinary” and creates large-scale immersive installations using a range of mediums including glass, light, and sound.
Her bio details how Sarah graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone (2014) in Art, Philosophy and Contemporary Practices.
She then moved to Edinburgh and began volunteering as a Hidden Door Festival team member, where she currently sits as a Team Member, Programming and helping to develop the festival’s content.
Sarah is also President of Visual Arts Scotland, a leading platform for national and international contemporary fine and applied artists.
Sarah’s move into her new studio has given her the space she needs to create more of her exquisite artwork, and here she is moving in!
